Evolving Plans
The original plan was to develop a small parcel of unused land within the current Public Park for sports use only. Due to its irregular shape it would have been expensive to build as it was squeezed into the only available non-playing area. We would not have been able to further develop the facilities, which were limited due to the small size of the plot. While the old plans have gained widespread approval from our local MP, MSP and Councillors an exciting opportunity has arisen that would enable a true community hub to be built that could be the outdoor recreation capital of Hillfoots, a hub for walking and cycling.
A plot of land just outside the village of Tillicoultry, within a large area of land already designated by the Council for sporting use, has been purchased by a local business, Woods Coaches of Tillicoultry. They are very supportive of helping to develop a community and sporting facility and furthermore intend to create an equestrian centre whose main aim is to provide for riding for the disabled.

Ground Floor
The Ground Floor would contain a cafe that would be open to the public all week as well as provide the Clubs with catering. The changing rooms would be self-contained and would permit access straight to the pitches. The sports hall would be big enough for indoor football and two badminton courts. The Gym would be self-contained to permit 24/7 training.
Second Floor
The Second Floor would provide a spectator area that would overlook the pitches as well as a Clubhouse with full sized glass windows to give the best views to the Ochils and over to the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle.
